What you need before you start

  • A list of questions and answers
  • An optional grouping plan (one group or multiple groups)

How the structure works

Accordion Groups has:

  • One or more groups
  • Each group contains one or more accordion items

Fields and how to fill them

Group content (required per group)

Each group has a rich text content area that appears above its accordion items.

Use it for:

  • A group heading
  • One line explaining what the questions cover

Accordion header (required)

  • Accordion header: the clickable question.

Writing tips:

  • Write the header as a clear question.
  • Keep it short.

Accordion content (required)

  • Accordion content: the answer shown when expanded.

Writing tips:

  • Start with a direct answer.
  • Use bullets for requirements, steps, or exceptions.
  • Keep paragraphs short.

Validation and common issues

  • Each group must have content.
  • Each group must have at least one accordion item.
  • Each accordion must have both a header and content.
  • Single group FAQ: one group, 5 to 10 accordion items
  • Categorized FAQ: multiple groups, 3 to 7 items per group

Common mistakes

  • Writing headers that are too long
  • Putting multiple unrelated topics into one accordion item
