Editing an Existing Page
This workflow covers the common steps for making updates to an existing Page.
Find the Page
Common ways to find the correct Page:
- Open Pages and search by internal name
- Open the Route for the URL you want to change and open its referenced Page
Edit the Page
- Open the Page
- Make your edits in the relevant Section
- Sanity saves your changes as a draft automatically
- Preview the draft (optional)
- Publish when you are ready
Editing a Section
When you open a Section, you can usually update:
- Copy (text content)
- Media (images or video)
- Buttons and links
- Layout settings
After publishing, the live site updates based on the published Page.
Quick troubleshooting
If your change is not live:
- Confirm the Page is published
- If you also changed the Route, confirm the Route is published
