What “Success” Looks Like After Installation
Purpose
Describe what success looks like in the first days and weeks after Speed Layer is installed.
Success should be measured in two ways
1) Site experience improvements
You should see directional improvements on key pages, especially on mobile:
- Main content appears sooner
- Layout is more stable while loading
- Interactions feel more responsive
These align with Core Web Vitals.
Google reference:

2) Business and operational health
The site should remain functional:
- Lead tools work (forms, chat, click to call)
- Inventory shopping flows work (SRP, VDP)
- Compliance and consent tooling behaves correctly
What to check first
Validate at least:
- Homepage
- SRP
- VDP
- Lead form pages
What to expect
- Results vary by platform, page template quality, and third party tooling.
- Improvements often show up as trends over time, not as one perfect test run.
- Some tools may load later if they are not critical for initial render.
