This page explains how to access Sanity Studio for your Marketplace site and what you can do once you are in.
Accessing Sanity Studio
Sanity Studio is a browser-based web app.
- There is nothing to install.
- Auto Genius will provide a unique Studio URL for your site.
After you sign in, you will see the editing structure for your Project and your content.
What you can do in Studio
Most dealership teams use Studio to:
- Edit Pages, Routes, and Sections
- Update Navigation (header and footer links)
- Review and update Location content that appears on your website
- Upload and manage media assets (images and video)
- Preview changes before publishing
- Publish immediately or schedule publishing for later
What you cannot change in Studio
Some parts of the platform are intentionally managed by Auto Genius to keep sites consistent and stable. Depending on your setup and permissions, you may not be able to:
- Edit the site-wide Theme (colors, typography, spacing)
- Create or change platform-level configuration documents that are provisioned for you
- Access datasets for other clients (each site is isolated)
Admin vs editor access
Access is role-based.
- Editors typically manage day-to-day content changes.
- Admin access is usually reserved for Auto Genius staff or approved administrators on your side.
