Onboarding Overview
When your site goes live on Marketplace, Auto Genius sets up your Sanity workspace and core site structure so you can start editing content right away.
What Auto Genius sets up for you
Before you receive access, Auto Genius provisions the foundation of your Marketplace site, including:
- A Sanity Studio workspace (your editing interface) at a unique URL
- Your Project document (the root of your site configuration)
- Your Locations, connected to your dealership’s data sources
- Default navigation (header and footer)
- Core Routes and Pages (home, inventory, vehicle detail pages, locations, and more)
What you receive
You will receive:
- A link to your Sanity Studio
- Login instructions for your team
What you manage vs what Auto Genius manages
You manage in Sanity
You can edit and publish items like:
- Pages and Sections
- Routes and SEO settings
- Navigation
- Location content that is designed for editing
- Redirects (when your setup includes redirects management)
Auto Genius manages behind the scenes
Auto Genius manages platform-level items such as:
- Hosting and infrastructure
- Domain and DNS configuration
- The rendering layer that serves your site
Common tools you will use in Studio
Depending on your permissions, you may see tools such as:
- Structure (your main editing view)
- Media library (upload and manage images and videos)
- Scheduled Publishing (publish at a future date and time)
