Media with Text Section

Use Media with Text when you want a strong storytelling block with an image or video next to your copy.

Best use cases

  • Explain a service, offer, or program
  • Highlight a feature with supporting details
  • About or dealership story blocks

What you need before you start

  • The copy you want to communicate (headline plus body)
  • A supporting image or video
  • Optional CTAs

Fields and how to fill them

Content (required)

  • Content: your main copy for the section.

Writing tips:

  • Start with a headline.
  • Keep paragraphs short.
  • Use bullets for lists of benefits.

Media (required)

  • Media: choose image, SVG, icon, or video.

Media tips:

  • Use a landscape image for the most flexible cropping.
  • Set alt text for images.
  • If you are using video, confirm it communicates the message even when audio is off.

Layout and positioning

  • Media position: left or right
  • Content horizontal position: left, middle, or right alignment within the text column
  • Content vertical position: top, middle, or bottom
  • Full bleed: when enabled, the media can extend to the edge of the browser

Practical guidance:

  • Alternate media left and right when stacking multiple sections.
  • Use full bleed when you have high-quality wide imagery.

Colors

  • Background color
  • Text color

Best practice:

  • Choose colors that keep body text readable.

CTAs

Media with Text usually supports up to two CTAs.

CTA tips:

  • If the section explains something, a common pattern is primary action plus a secondary “Learn more” link.

Validation and common issues

  • Content and media are required. Publishing is blocked if either is missing.
  • If a CTA is enabled, fill in label and link.
  • Feature highlight: media left, copy right, primary CTA
  • Alternating story: media right, copy left, no CTA, or a secondary CTA
