Selecting Locations in Sections

Overview

Some sections on Marketplace pages allow you to select specific Locations to display. This is commonly used for location cards and location-filtered reviews.

Selecting Locations for a Locations section

When you add a Locations section to a content page, you typically:

  1. Add the section to the page content blocks.
  2. Choose which Locations should appear.
  3. Configure display options based on the experience you want.

Common options may include:

  • Showing or hiding the location name and address
  • Showing a brand icon
  • Showing an image preview (map image or hero image)
  • Choosing the label used for the details link

Selecting Locations for a Reviews section

A Reviews section commonly supports two configurations:

  • Global reviews: pulls reviews across all project locations.
  • Location-specific reviews: you select one or more locations, and the section pulls reviews associated with those locations.

Common display controls include:

  • How many reviews to show initially
  • Whether to show an expand button and how many to show when expanded
  • Whether to show platform logos and profile pictures
  • Whether to hide reviews that have no comment text
  • A rating threshold filter

Tips for consistent results

  • Confirm that the Locations you want to display are configured to be visible for the intended experience.
  • For location-specific reviews, select locations that are meant to appear on public location experiences.
  • If a location is missing from a picker, it is often due to visibility settings on that Location document.
