Supported Languages
Overview
Supported Languages controls which languages are available on your Marketplace site and which language is the default.
This configuration matters for any text that is localized, including:
- Navigation labels
- Page and section text
- SEO fields
- Location names and labels
Enabled languages
Your site can have one or more enabled languages.
When multiple languages are enabled:
- Visitors can navigate the site in those languages.
- Content can be provided per language when available.
Default language
Your default language is used when:
- A visitor does not select a language
- A localized value is missing for the current language
This keeps the site consistent even when some content has not been translated.
How to keep multilingual content consistent
- Ensure navigation labels are translated for every enabled language.
- Review key lead capture pages such as inventory pages, contact flows, and location pages in each enabled language.
- For SEO fields, provide localized titles and descriptions where possible.
What to expect when adding a language
When you add a new supported language:
- Existing content may fall back to the default language until translations are added.
- Some pages may have a mix of translated and default-language content.
Review the site after enabling a language so you can prioritize which pages and navigation elements to translate first.
