Marketplace is Auto Genius’s website platform. You manage your site in Sanity, and your changes publish to your live website.

What Marketplace powers

Marketplace powers the public-facing parts of your dealership website, including:

• Inventory browsing (search results and vehicle detail pages)

• Location pages (hours, contact info, directions)

• Content pages (promotions, service pages, about pages)

• Integrations like chat, trade-in, and finance tools (when enabled for your site)

Your site is a Project

In Marketplace, your dealership website is organized as a Project. A Project connects:

• Inventory data (vehicles, brands, body styles)

• One or more Locations

• Your website content (Routes, Pages, and Sections)

• Your Theme (site-wide styling)

• Your integrations and tracking

What you edit (and what you do not)

You do your day-to-day work in Sanity.

• You edit structured content, such as Pages, Routes, and section content.

• You publish when you are ready for changes to go live.

Behind the scenes, Marketplace serves your website using a rendering layer at the edge.

• You do not need access to this layer to manage content.

• Publishing triggers the site to refresh so visitors see the latest content.
