Finance / Credit Integrations
Overview
Finance and credit integrations support online credit applications and financing-related lead flows.
Marketplace supports both:
- Built-in finance application flows
- External finance portals routed per location
This lets you keep a consistent site experience while still routing shoppers to the tools your dealership uses.
Built-in finance application
When finance is enabled, Marketplace can provide an internal credit application flow that captures shopper information and routes the lead appropriately.
Some dealerships also use a secure submission integration when supported.
External finance portals (per location)
A location can be configured with an external finance application URL.
When an external URL is present:
- Financing CTAs route directly to your external portal.
When an external URL is not present:
- Financing CTAs can fall back to the built-in Marketplace finance flow.
This makes it possible for a dealer group to have different finance routing across locations.
What you should prepare
To configure finance integration, you typically provide:
- Whether you want internal forms, external portals, or a mix
- Finance portal URLs for each location that should route externally
- Any provider requirements or secure submission details
What to review after setup
After finance is enabled, review:
- Financing CTAs on VDPs and location pages
- The credit application flow end-to-end
- Confirmation and lead routing
- Mobile behavior
