Footer Configuration
Overview
Footer configuration controls what appears at the bottom of your Marketplace site. The footer typically provides:
- Navigation links
- Required legal links
- Optional branding and location information
Footer behavior is driven primarily by Global Site Settings, which selects which footer navigation menus and footer options should be used.
Footer navigation
Your site can use different footer navigation menus depending on device and traffic source.
Common footer navigation slots include:
- Primary footer navigation (desktop)
- Primary mobile footer navigation
- Paid media footer navigation for campaign traffic
Footer legal links
Many sites display legal links in the footer bottom bar, such as:
- Terms of Use
- Privacy Policy
These links are configured as two footer meta links.
Footer logo
Your site can optionally override the default footer logo.
When enabled:
- You choose the logo asset used in the footer.
- The rest of the site branding remains unchanged.
Address and contact information
Some sites show a location address in the footer.
When enabled:
- You select which Location should be displayed.
- The footer can show that location’s address and related contact information.
This is useful when:
- You want a consistent contact reference across the site
- You have a primary storefront that should be featured
What to review after changes
After updating footer configuration, review:
- A desktop page with long scroll, to confirm the footer navigation renders correctly
- A mobile page, to confirm mobile footer behavior
- The footer legal links
- Any footer address display
